These books will inspire students to develop a life-long love of reading. Students will have direct access to the 2018-19 Sunshine State Readers through this project. They will be able to be read to, read independently, and discuss these quality literary titles. Additionally, students will be exposed to and learn about how to develop a Growth Mindset vs a Fixed Mindset. They will be able to embrace challenge and take risks. GRIT, effort and hard work will be incorporated into the classroom community. Lastly, students will not be afraid to ask for help and receive feedback positively all through reading books related to the topic of a Growth Mindset.
