Osmo creates a safe and successful way for my students to work on academic skills in stations, both independently and with peers. Osmo’s ability to differentiate the levels meets the needs of all of my students. The fun and interactive aspects of Osmo, boost attention span and focus in my students. Specifically, the Coding set would be used in library class to promote critical thinking and computer skills. The Tangram would be used to teach patterns and geometry to aid computer skills. Osmo not only teaches academic skills and allows my students to connect with their peers, it also provides them with a successful learning environment. Many of my students struggle with fine-motor abilities, which can make using technology difficult. Osmo would create an environment where my students can explore and develop skills in technology. Most of my students learn best using manipulatives and hands-on activities.
