Most of my students come from very low-income families, where the families are struggling and sometimes can't afford to purchase the items that are needed for school.They shouldn't have to worry about school supplies.I have students that bear the burden of knowing their parents cannot provide their required supplies. Something seemingly so simple as paper and pencils has a tremendous impact in a child's life. My students will benefit from using the classroom supplies, such as pencils, writing journals, erasers, sentence strips, paper and sight word games by enhancing their vocabulary skills and ensure that they are equipped to learn and succeed in the classroom. My students are creative thinkers, full of energy, and love to be challenged by playing games and using hands on activities. I am creating teachers, doctors, lawyers, nurses, scientists, police officers and computer technicians.
