Having all students perform at or above grade level in math is the goal for my fifth graders. One way to help us meet that goal is through the use of technology. Chromebooks are needed in my classroom to give all students the opportunity to complete lessons on computer based programs. In my experience, the students who spend an average of 60-90 minutes each week on these programs, generally reach their goals. Classroom computers are limited in number and many of my fifth graders do not have access to computers in their homes. I need to ensure that all of my students have opportunities to use technology on a regular basis.
