The Chromebook chargers will allow our students instant access to technology on a daily basis. With students changing classes the battery life wouldn't sustain a whole day of usage therefore when the 1st class finishes they need to have somewhere they can instantly charge the Chromebook. There are not enough outlets in the classroom to house all 20 Chromebooks, therefore, a Charging station is a necessity. Using the Chromebooks daily in our classrooms would be impossible to keep charged without the charging stations. The Chromebooks are used to research current events, play engaging educational games, teach 21st-century technology skills and many other things. Research is imperative for effectively learning science and social studies. I feel that students need to have as much experience with technology as possible.
