Flexible seating within my classroom is a must. Being a first year teacher and trying to provide the many needed materials for my students to succeed, is a struggle. The low flex rectangular table will provide the opportunity for the students who love to sit on the floor or their knees the option to work while sitting the way they feel comfortable. The wobble seats will provide active movement for my wiggly worms in the classroom. These seats will give my most active students the chance to move as much as they want while they learn. The colorful bean bag chairs will provide the option for those students who like to feel relaxed while working. I know the bean bag chairs will be a hit for my girls in the classroom! Incorporating flexible seating with my classroom will build a strong active learning environment for my first grade babies. Providing these flexible seating options within my classroom will take out the need for unwanted desks and chairs, which will provide an adequate amount of space within the classroom for our small group activities done on a daily basis.
