As a sixth grade science teacher it is my job to inspire all my students to be the best scientists, engineers, mathematicians, and technology specialists they can be! However, it is a particular challenge for many of the female students entering my STEM school. As an avid reader, over the years I have worked diligently to create a classroom library that interests and motivates my students to read beyond the science taught in my class. The books I have requested are geared to do just that, inspire and motivate, particularity my female students! These books will be the center of our all female bookclub! Where we will read, discuss, and most of all "see ourselves as the scientist, engineer, or mathematician."

About my class
