By bridging 4th and 5th grade we have maximized our blended learning module that gives them 3 days a week of in person instruction. Our dual language department needs classroom computers so students can do collaborative STEM work for all of their subjects while maintaining a safe distance from each other. Let's help the "new normal" feel more "normal" for all of us. Our students will learn better when they feel better and when they have their own personal device that will be safe whenever they go to school. We must include our remote friends in our daily routine. In order to communicate with our friends at home we need "in person" technology for our "in person students" in the classroom. This will allow remote students to work on collaborative STEM projects with their friends in real time throughout the school day. We must encourage more real time live discussions. As teachers, we are working with our remote partners and we would like our students to do the same.
