My students need a specific place where they can sit and focus on their reading and other activities that focus on the alphabet, letter recognition, and writing. These activities will be used during Learning Center times throughout the day as we read and write while learning together. They will be able to use the rug during our whole group and small group time, learning letters and sounds as they make words. Your generous donation to our project will improve our first grade classroom by building stronger readers and writers. This will change our students' lives for the better.
