My students need one Apple iPad, plus three Osmo problem-solving technology kits to help encourage positive communication skills to last a lifetime. When I am working with students in small groups or individually, I often focus on problem solving techniques, emotional issues, and academics. A colleague in my county has seen great success with Osmo in individual, small group, and even classroom guidance settings. Through use of Osmo, technology will help open the doors of communication and problem-solving for my students. I plan to use the Coding pack and other Osmo accessories to draw parallels between everyday decision-making skills and reaching a well thought out solution to peer conflict, learning difficulties, and day to day difficulties. The opportunities for students are endless!
