My students live in Union City, California. The school I teach at is a Title I school, which means that more than half are eligible for free and reduced rate lunch. I have a diverse group of kids with a variety of backgrounds and needs. My students love fiction and I'm hoping by the end of the year, they will have the same passion and love for nonfiction.
