This spring we will have a Green Apple Day of Service to help expand our outdoor learning spaces at James Madison Elementary. On this day, we are making improvements to our outdoor classroom, school forest woodland trails, and newly established prairie! We will be adding more trails to our 2 acre outdoor classroom and possibly planting a few new trees to our prairie area. If we receive funds we can prepare our students for this event and continue to educate them on the importance of our school contributing to a green and healthy planet. We deeply appreciate donors considering our low income school for items to enrich student education in the sciences. We have established our school as a Green and Healthy School which recycles during lunch, uses renewable resources, teaches in our outdoor classroom and develops healthy lifestyles for our students, their families and the surrounding neighbors. Thank you for considering us.
