My 30 third graders are curious, eager learners! More than half of them are English Language Learners and majority of them come from households with low socio-economic status. We have eight different home languages besides English represented in just our classroom! My school is a Title 1 public K-8 that consists of 47 different home languages and a free and reduced lunch count of almost 90%.
