My school provides an exciting foundation that uses hands-on activities to provide the opportunity for students to explore real world experiences. The students enjoy hands-on activities, and they always meet the high expectations of project-based learning. The students in my school live in a high poverty rural area. We are a 100% free and reduced lunch charter school. The students have limited experiences and enrichment opportunities, so any hands-on/minds-on activity is a great way to stimulate their minds and provide a new experience that may inspire them to look closer at a career choice in that area.
