Hi, I am a 4th grade teacher at Olympic Elementary in Longview,WA. The population of young students at Olympic Elementary are mostly transient, low income, and multi-ethnic. Our school is a title 1 school where 100% of the students are offered free breakfast and free lunch. The school district supplies only basic essentials for the classrooms such as tables and chairs and as a result extras such as art supplies, learning manipulatives, and electronics must be bought by the teachers. I love my students and teaching is a passion. I want to give them the best opportunities to experience learning in a fun, engaging, enriching, loving environment. I want to school to be a safe and rewarding place so that they can become the amazing people they are destined to become. I appreciate any and all support you are able to give.
