Many students face challenges every day. In school, students need to feel free to be kids, just as they are. I want my classroom to be their safe environment​ and a place where they are comfortable and free to explore. We know that if a child is unhappy, they will not learn. I want my students to continue to look forward to going to school every day. I want them to enjoy the work they are creating and everything they are learning. Flexible seating will create that world for them. I want to provide as much comfort as I can, while still being able to encourage community, collaboration, choices and sensory stimulation.
