My students come from a variety of backgrounds and places in the world. This year the majority of my class is ESL, which includes 2 that speak no English at all. My students struggle with vocabulary and background knowledge. Each of my students truly love learning and thrive on new experiences. Their attendance is amazing which makes me a very proud teacher! Like most kids, my students love technology and will stay focused when I am using it. The school population is very diverse, but is made up of high poverty families. Our students tend to be highly mobile, so I try to make the most of the time I have with each of them. We also have a large population of ESL families throughout our school. Overall, our school is a very loving and warm place to be. Our families love being there and we see several parents in the building throughout the day!
