Kullerstrand is a unique Title I school with a huge heart. About 80% of our students are eligible for free or reduced price lunch and we have a 12% mobility rate. For many of our students, school is one of their favorite and most secure places. We pride ourselves in our dedication to educating the whole child and preparing them for world. In my classroom, I have twenty six students who come to school each day, ready to learn. My students take great pride in having the best attendance in the school. A very diverse room, I have students reading well above and below grade level. I work hard each day to give them the education that they deserve - which is the absolute best that I can give them. I am fortunate enough to have 1:1 Chromebooks and a few shared iPads, but I am lacking the tools to keep them innovating. My dream is to integrate more project based learning that will prepare my students for a very competitive world. My kids deserve all the chances that I can give them.
