My classroom is in an urban, low income neighborhood. I work with early childhood students with special needs. My children range from 3 to 6 years old. My students work so hard each day to overcome challenges they face both in and out of the classroom. We play together, cry together, celebrate together, and learn together each and every day. My students have disabilities that range from requiring a small amount of help to catch up to their regular education peers to requiring support throughout the day to support them in academics, communication, social, and emotional/behavioral skills.
