My students are kindergarteners! They love bright, colorful things that allow them to take a "mini vacation" when they look at it. What is a "mini vacation" you might say? It's that moment we all have when our mind wanders off to a place other than the task at hand. We all have "mini vacations"... kindergarteners just have more! Let's face it, at the beginning of the year a 5-year-olds' attention is about 3-5 minutes. Every few minutes a student's attention could be directly focused on this spectacular carpet. Our school was originally established in 1874. It is the oldest elementary school in the county. Yes, it is the "little red brick schoolhouse" that has that small community charm. We take pride in being a part of living history, while also providing a modern education. This carpet could really help put some life into our classroom.
