Our Title 1 school is located in Brooklyn's East New York and all students qualify for free breakfast and lunch programs. My students hail from many different backgrounds and cultures. Many of my students come to class without supplies and it is up to me to provide what they need to accomplish daily tasks. Funding for our school is very limited and teachers are expected to stock their classroom with basic supplies such as pencils, markers and chart paper. It is my goal to get my classroom ready for this coming September and stocking it with supplies that will ensure my students' success and accomplishments.
