My students are active 5th graders who want to move and play. They want to learn, but they want to be comfortable. Flexible seating gives the students choice in where and how they want to sit. These seats will keep my students bodies and minds engaged. I believe students do better when they are given choices and are in an inviting classroom. Sitting still is hard to do for a lot of kids. These seats require you to balance which will help alleviate the need to move around or get off task. My goal this year is to allow many different seating options for students. I want them to be able to pick a spot in the classroom that will allow them to stay focused for lessons and activities.
