Having Chromebooks in the library allows students in grades Kindergarten through fifth grade to use technology often. Students in grades 3-5 will soon have to take all tests on a Chromebook. Having Chromebooks in students hands early makes the transition from lower grades to a testing grade trouble-free. Students would use the Chromebooks for research, reading e-books, coding, and many educational programs. Students would be able to become comfortable using technology independently as well as in small groups. Our School Improvement Plan includes increasing technology in our school as much as possible. Chromebooks need to be in the hands of our students!
