My school is located in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia. My classroom is full of students from a variety of grade level that need extra support in mathematics in order to be successful with on grade level content. Many of my students come from families living in poverty. This often causes them to come to school with extra baggage from outside situations, which can cause a distraction while in the classroom. They are learning that they have the ability to change what happens in the future to improve themselves, their families and their community. Our school strongly believes that our students can 'soar towards limitless possibilities'!
