A document camera provides endless opportunities for student engagement and collaboration. By using a document camera during instruction, students will be able to display their own products for the whole class to easily see on our interactive whiteboard. No matter how small the writing or object, students will be able to see it from every seat with clarity, helping them to remain actively engaged when their friends are sharing. The most exciting and engaging way that a document camera can be used is as a tool for Skype in the classroom. With its camera and built-in microphone, a document camera will help our classroom to participate in virtual field trips, interact with educators around the world, collaborate with other classrooms, and have virtual visits with guest speakers. Getting to do all of these things and more with only one tool is very exciting! By donating to this project you will be helping my students to learn from one another and to learn from scientists, educators, students, and authors across the world! The document camera, storage case, and light I have selected will help my students to learn in the way they do best, together. Please consider donating to help make our classroom an even better place to learn and grow!
