As educators, we want our students to be kind and to treat others with respect. As kids get older, it becomes more difficult to come up with lessons that teach them to be empathetic and to accept others for who they are. At MS Middle School, we are intentional about building meaningful relationships and modeling kindness. I am hoping to provide my students with meaningful books that will teach them to value differences in others. I want my kids to celebrate diversity! In doing so, I believe that they will become more productive adults in our increasingly diverse society.

About my class
