I am hoping to add two iPads and four new pairs of headphones to our classroom. I currently have four computers in our classroom and two working headphones. While we are grateful for what we have, it is simply not enough. My students use technology on a daily basis for math and reading programs during our centers rotation. The data I receive from these computer-based programs help me to monitor student progress and better plan to meet the needs of my students. Adding two iPads and four new headphones to my classroom would ensure that every student has access to the technology that they need. These iPads will be used mainly for math and reading lessons, but I would also love to incorporate them into other subject areas. I would use them for writing to publish their work on the school's website and for science to help them conduct research and record observations. The other accessories listed are to help ensure that these very expensive pieces of technology last for as long as possible.
