These materials will provide students with various genres and opportunities to increase their reading comprehension, fluency, and love for reading. Students can learn from home by checking out the books and returning them to school when finished. This project will enhance my lessons in that students will be empowered to learn required skills at their own pace and take ownership of their learning. High-interest books with relatable characters will encourage students to spend more of their free time reading. Experienced readers will improve their performance across all content areas.
