Teaching a split-grade class has many challenges; however, with the right classroom environment and instruction, a multi-age class reaps multi rewards! By having a table and easel where I can work with small groups, I will better be able to meet the needs of my students, not only by grade level, but also interest and ability level too. By having these two items, I will be better able to work with smaller groups of students. In addition to the table and easel, three Chromebooks will go a long way in helping my students to deepen their learning. Not only will these Chromebooks help students access the Internet, they will also help ensure that students are receiving individualized instruction by accessing email and Google Drive. In today's world, computers are a must when it comes to promoting digital citizenship.
