I began using flexible seating this year with my students, relying on hand-me-downs and cheaper versions of popular items. My students have been thriving with the different options. They know when and how to use everything in my class. Unfortunately, the materials have not been able to withstand the everyday wear and tear from nine year olds. Stools that were not designed to wobble have cracked from the constant movement of my children. I have noticed that many of my students are constantly moving or fidgeting without even intending to. I want to provide them with seating that is not only safe for that movement, but actually encourages it.

About my class
