I would like to have a rug in our classroom for students to come together, learn, and share experiences. We have desks, chairs and small group tables, but I would like my students to be able to join together at the front of our room. This will help us in all of our classes across subjects and learning targets. Starting and closing our lessons together reminds students we are working and learning as a community. I would like them to be able to have a comfortable space to share what they've learned, ask questions of each other, and clarify our thinking. This rig will give us a space to continually build our community.
