My students will be able to make sure their school, community and classroom announcements make it into their backpacks by having everything centrally located. This mailbox will to improve independence and organization with my 5th graders. This mailbox will be used daily to get students in the habit of placing all extra papers that tend to accumulate in their desks in their mailboxes. The mailbox will also be used to give materials to students that were absent the previous day or days. The mailbox will be used a means of communication between the office and the students' parents or guardian.
