Our students and baseball go together like hot dogs and apple pie. The Binghamton Rumble Ponies will capture the students’ enthusiasm for baseball by demonstrating the many educational opportunities during the game. These would include reading a box score, computing a batting average, calculating a pitcher’s ERA, to name just a few. Baseball is truly a game of numbers and science and the applications to the classroom are almost endless. Beyond traditional core subjects, baseball can show our students perseverance, teamwork, competition, and enjoyment. Please help our students tie together the American pastime and their education. What a great opportunity for our students. Thank you!!

About my class
