I have a great group of 5th graders this year. I have 120 students of varying ability levels. I do a great deal of differentiating to give each student or group what they need in order to learn and be successful. My students look forward to Science because they can learn while having fun. Most of my homeroom students are struggling readers and are on IEP's. Being able to provide these students with lab experiences is very important to me. I see how engaged they are when we are doing labs. I want to be able to provide them with as many lab experiences as possible.
