This will be my first year teaching at a new school, and as you can see by the picture there isn't much in my classroom to work with. With this being my first year I generally have nothing to fill this classroom with. I want my students to be given every opportunity to succeed. My students are second through fourth graders that have been placed in a special education setting based on their academic needs. These students are in grave need of my help; since I was informed that in the past year they have all regressed in their academic progress. I have not had the chance to meet my students yet. After speaking with their previous teacher I can't wait to meet my students and their families. These students deserve the best, and I promise to help them achieve or surpass every goal that they have. Through your help and a lot of hard work I am determined that we will change that this year. We have a big year ahead of us!
