I would like to create STEM bins for my students. These bins will be used with the many picture books I have purchased to help teach engineering, architecture, mathematics and science in an active, fun, and engaging way. The STEM bins will be a center activity and also be used as "early finisher" activities to keep students engaged and learning while other students are finishing their assignments. Our world is surrounded by science, technology, engineering and math. STEM activities will help children grasp how the real world works. By engaging the students at a young age I can perhaps spark an early passion.
