I teach teenagers, and it is hard enough to get their attention during in-person teaching. Just imagine trying to get their attention when I, the teacher, have an old sluggish computer. I purchased a computer monitor for my virtual students, but unfortunately, a desktop is not really in my budget right now. I had heard of DonorsChoose from one of my co-workers. She was able to get a class set of headsets because of the generosity of the various donors. I decided to try my luck with DonorsChoose for the funding of this desktop.
