All of these pieces will help assist the students I work with to focus and pay attention. The different seating options will give those students who need to move a chance to do it without being disruptive to others around them. Weighted items like the lap pads give those who need the compression to focus a chance to have something in their laps to provide that. Fidgets like timers, help give those who need something to calm themselves or get wiggles out. When you have sensory needs, focusing at a task on hand can be challenging. I want to provide the best means of focus to my students and know there are many means of gaining that sense of attention.
