My students come from a high-poverty area, where the challenges of day-to-day living are hard enough without having to worry about the changing world of technology. At our pre-K through eighth grade school, we strive to incorporate as much technology into the curriculum as possible, hoping to provide the students with the same experiences as other students their age. Due to the high cost of a 91% free/reduced lunch population, as well as covering the costs of basic school supplies, the school's funding is limited for extra resources.
