My students work in a choice-based art room. There are small studios that the students pick from to make their art and a very popular studio is Fiber Arts. They love learning new skills like sewing, weaving and embroidery. I am hoping to expand their weaving and sewing skills with these supplies. They will be able to make a variety of weaving projects as well and a plethora of sewing crafts. I have first graders sewing felt dolls, and second graders weaving on cardboard looms. Imagine what they can do with a tabletop loom and more sewing supplies. I can't wait to see.
