Having Chromebooks with keyboards will boost my students' learning in the classroom in a variety of ways. First and foremost, these will allow me to reach each learner by targeting their instruction to fit their needs. With access to a great number of programs, students' learning experiences will flourish. Not only can I target instruction more accurately, these students will learn to conduct research on topics that interest them, expanding their world. Overall, I am excited to see my students use technology in higher level thinking. I want to see them create books, write stories, synthesize information, and evaluate sources. Many do not have this opportunity in their homes with the lack of Internet in rural areas. I envision them taking the lead as I facilitate their growth with the use of technology.
