This project will allow my students to experience quality literature that resembles themselves - a diverse group of children! This will also allow my students to express themselves through art using materials that are multi-cultural and inclusive. All children should be able to see characters who look like them in books and have materials that will allow them to express how they feel and what makes them unique. These materials will help my students to feel connected to the literature they read and the art they produce. These materials are important for my students to share their vibrant personalities and grow in confidence to learn in school and the world around them.

About my class
