Every day, all of my students meet and learn at the gathering place in the front of our room. This area would be made better with a rug! In this area... We learn our math strategies. We listen to and read great literature. We work through hands-on science and questioning. We prep for project-base learning ideas. We discuss social studies cultures and celebrations. We work on coding. We share our voice and personal writing pieces. Our class needs this rug to create a comfortable and warming learning environment and routine. This rug would help all subjects and the social emotional needs of my students. We need a rug that gives every child his or her own personal space. That personal space allows them to focus and do their best in class. We also need a rug that allows us to talk, share, think, learn and just feel welcomed. Thank you for supporting my students.
