We always tell kids to come to school prepared with a pencils, but a pencil is useless without a pencil sharpener. I do my best to supply my students with the necessary materials to be successful, but a pencil sharper is one of those tools that is expensive and difficult to replace myself. My students are in need of a good pencil sharpener to help them be prepared for school, I do my best to come up with lessons that are engaging and interesting so that kids gain a desire to learn. As a teacher I participate in as many things as I can so that I'm an active and helpful member of our school community. I desperately rely on a planner so that I can keep track of all my lessons and commitments. We don't have a whole lot of time in school for fun activities, so I make it a goal to do an art project at least once every other week. Kids LOVE to do art, whether it's for a big class project or just a fun art activity. We recently ran out of paint and markers and would love to be able to continue doing some of those fun projects.
