My students LOVE being "scientists". They love discovering things about the world through hands-on experimentation and activities. The materials I am requesting will help make that happen. With these items, my students will be able to explore & learn about a variety of scientific concepts. For example, we will become engineers and design different ramps with KEVA Planks to explore the concept of force and motion. I will be able to supplement my instruction with hands-on activities that will inspire my students to continue to learn. The building of marble runs with Q-BA-Maze will not only teach sculptural design, but it will also allow us to investigate the science concepts of force and motion through our designs. Additionally, working in teams will support our classrooms language skills as we learn to engage in academic conversations about building a great design and hearing other students ideas about the topic. Please consider donating and being a part of shaping our future scientists, engineers, computer programmers and more. This donation will change our students' lives for the better because these STEAM activities and projects will serve as an educational foundation that will blossom into a love of learning, starting at an early age and continuing into adulthood.
