My students are excited about learning and enjoy coming to school. They all want to learn to read and do math! The level of readiness varies greatly from student to student being my room is an inclusion classroom. Providing students with seating that allows them to wiggle and move will help them be more successful. I currently have one very old wiggle cushion. Many children demonstrate the need for different seating options like wiggle seats, exercise balls, bean bags, and lowered tables with floor cushions. Developing core muscle strength is crucial to being successful in the classroom. Seating options will help them build these core muscles and make the room a more inviting place to learn.
