My students attend a K-5 building in Michigan. They are a wonderful group of young learners, but technology is very limited in our building. Whenever a teacher brings in a new learning tool (at their own expense), the students eyes light up as they are eager and passionate about learning. My students are growing up in a world full of technological advances, yet we are currently unable to provide a learning environment that matches. Many of my students struggle in the area of reading fluency and comprehension, but they continue to try and master the necessary skills each and every day.

About my class
