I am a First Grade teacher at a public school in Nevada. My students come from many different backgrounds. Many come into school without basic readiness skills. These students typically need help in identifying rhymes, beginning sounds and syllables. I am also part of the Community Connections Team. This team works in partnership with our community to empower students with the knowledge, values and opportunities to learn and make our school a better place. I am committed to the teaching profession and in making the world a happier, more peaceful place for our children, our children's children, and many generations to come.
