I am looking to add a class set of scientific calculators for my students. I teach Algebra 2 in a metropolitan High School. Most of my students don't have the means to purchase calculators of their own. Having a class set of calculators will remove just one more barrier for my students to achieve success. I have a lot of motivated students that want to learn, but using cheap, substandard calculators can be so frustrating, especially when working on exponents or logarithmic functions. If I can give them something easy to use and allow them to be successful immediately, instead of being met with frustration over the tool their using, I believe their success will increase exponentially!
