My students are amazing students that are used to not having the same resources and materials as the students from across town. This project will have a positive and lasting effect on each and every one of my students' lives. It will show to them that other people care about their educational success and their lives. My school's student population consists of almost 90% minorities and over 60% of the student body comes from an economically disadvantaged household. This project will level the playing field for each and every one of my students. I know that they will be very thankful that they can finally compete with other students in applying for top college universities. They will also be very thankful that they can be properly prepared to excel in college.
